These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at sugarplumbakeryaz.com, operated by Sugar Plum Bakery ("Sugar Plum Bakery", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
About this website
This website is where you order baked goods from Sugar Plum Bakery, a home bakery in Phoenix East Valley, Arizona, and where you ask about a custom cake.
Ordering
The weekly window. Everything is baked to order, once a week. Orders placed by the end of Wednesday (11:59pm, Arizona time) are baked for that Saturday. Orders placed after that go to the following Saturday. The date shown at checkout is the day your order is for; please check it before you pay.
Pickup and delivery. Pickup is at the East Valley spot named at checkout and confirmed by text. Delivery is local, by hand, within the delivery area shown at checkout. Nothing is shipped or mailed, and anything that needs to stay cold is delivered in person.
Prices and payment. The price you pay is the price on the menu when you order. Payment is taken in full at checkout through Stripe, and we never see your card details. Your order is confirmed once the payment goes through.
Changes, cancellations, and refunds. Because everything is baked to order, please make any change or cancellation before the Wednesday cutoff by emailing sugarplumbakeryaz@gmail.com. Once the cutoff passes, ingredients have been bought and baking has been planned, so a refund after that point is at our discretion. If something is wrong with your order, tell us the same day and we will make it right.
Allergens. Everything is made in a home kitchen that handles common food allergens, and we cannot guarantee any item is free of them. Please tell us about an allergy before you order, and read the cottage food disclosure for the full notice.
Custom cakes
A custom cake request is not an order. It is the start of a conversation: we confirm the details, the date, and the price by text, and the cake is booked only once we have both agreed to them and any payment we agree on has been made.
Intellectual property
The content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, and design, is owned by Sugar Plum Bakery or its licensors and is protected by applicable law. You may view and share it for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use it commercially without our prior written permission.
Acceptable use
You agree to use this site lawfully. In particular, you agree not to:
- interfere with or disrupt the site or its underlying systems;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site;
- use the site to transmit unlawful, harmful, or misleading content; or
